Giacometti, the sculptor known for his elongated human figures, actually
did a piece called "Cube" that was not lengthened. Imagining what sort of cube Giacometti might have made
resulted in Giacometti's Other Cube. Of the sculptures so far
made from the material originally milled
for All Is Number, the eighth sculpture,
Giacometti's Other Cube is to date both the
tallest, and the narrowest in the other two dimensions.
