Cochlea 2002 hemlock 33 x 30 x 5 inches (82 x 75 x 12 cm) SOLD
Cochlea is the fourth in the series of six Triumph
sculptures. It is made from about one third the number of pieces as Triumph, but
as a
free-form sculpture with virtually none of the constraints of the founder sculpture,
it is free to wander at will, as long as the pieces stay in close contact with the wall plane, a constraint
that makes it difficult to construct.
