Medici is named for the Medici family of Florence,
or rather their coat of arms said to derive from either the pawnbroker's coins or the
cupping glasses that suggest the family's history as apothecaries or doctors (medici).
This gracefully-shaped piece, based on five cones, can be displayed in various
positions. Its silhouetted form is very striking.
