A segue is a link, or a bridge between two things, words, images, ideas or moments. This segue in wood poses the question of whether a segue itself can be subdivided infinitely. What looks solid is, of course, an illusion. This piece, produced in 2004, was made in two passes from left to right, first gluing the upper sets of two, then finishing with a second pass left to right to add the lowest rows.
